I found a coupon in my wallet for a free top-of-the-line car wash, so I figured now that it’s almost spring I should take advantage of the offer. It rained a day or two later, so I took it back for a redo today.
She can really use a coat of wax, so I’ll have to check to see what I’ve got around the house. There are lots of little nicks and scratches; the ones on the hood and roof from road debris, but down the sides they’re more likely caused by careless idiots banging their doors into my car. I tend to park further away in order to avoid being next to others, but sometimes that doesn’t seem to be enough...

A clean car is a good feeling. It’s almost warm enough here to do a good deep hand wash/clay/wax. I’m looking forward to the shine!

Thanks. This model of the 5 was only available in this color one year only; for 2013 they changed to a lesser shade of red. Making it even more rare is the manual transmission. Only a few were made with this color/trans combo, and one of the reasons I want to keep this bugger forever.
